Simple Homemade Honey Roasted Cashews Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup cashew nuts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp butter melted
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 150ºC.
- Line a baking sheet with a tin foil.
- In a microwaveable bowl, combine honey, salt, and melted butter.
- In another bowl, combine cashews and the honey mixture. Toss and coat evenly.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared sheet. Bake for 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven, toss, and put it back for another 5-6 minutes.
- Once the cashews are toasted and brown, remove the tray. Toss it with coconut sugar. Leave aside until cooled. Then, store in an airtight container.
Notes
- You can have optional add-ins like ground cinnamon, paprika, or vanilla extract.
- If there are no cashews available, you can use any type of nuts otherwise.
